Terms of Service | VoiceScout

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VoiceScout: the website at voicescout.ai, our direct-mail campaigns, our AI voice agents, and the customer dashboard (together, the "Service"), operated by Home Service AI LLC ("VoiceScout," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What VoiceScout does

VoiceScout answers calls and texts for home-service businesses ("Customers") with AI voice agents, and sends physical direct mail (postcards) on their behalf. The agent answers questions about the Customer's business, takes the caller's details, helps schedule estimates and appointments, and passes the conversation to the Customer as a lead. Each mail piece can carry a QR code and a phone number that reach the same agent.

2. Accounts

You need an account to run campaigns. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Tell us right away at hello@voicescout.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Customer responsibilities

If you're a Customer running campaigns through VoiceScout, you agree that:

The mailing lists you provide, or approve when we source them for your campaign, were lawfully collected and may be used for direct mail.
The business information you give the voice agent (services, pricing ranges, availability) is accurate. The agent answers with what you provide.
You'll honor reasonable opt-out requests from mail recipients.
You won't use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harassing, or to market products and services that are illegal where the recipient lives.

4. Mail approval

Nothing mails until you approve the proof. Once you approve a mailing and it is handed to our print-and-mail partner, it cannot be recalled.

5. AI voice agents

Our voice agents are powered by artificial intelligence. They are designed to be accurate and helpful, but like all AI systems they can make mistakes: a quoted price range, availability window, or answer may occasionally be wrong or incomplete. Bookings made by the agent are requests for an appointment, and the Customer's own confirmation controls. Voice conversations are recorded and transcribed so the Customer can follow up; the agent discloses this at the start of every conversation. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Connected accounts and Google Calendar

You can choose to connect other accounts to VoiceScout, such as Google Calendar or a field service tool. Connecting one is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time from your VoiceScout account settings.

Your permission. When you connect an account you authorize VoiceScout to access it only as needed to provide the feature you turned on, and you confirm you are allowed to grant that access (for example, that your organization's Google Workspace administrator permits it).
What Google Calendar is used for. VoiceScout checks the free and busy times on the calendar you connect so the agent can offer callers open times, and adds, moves or cancels the appointments the agent books. VoiceScout does not read the details of, change or delete events it did not create. What we access, how long we keep it and how to delete it are set out in section 3 of our Privacy Policy, and our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Keeping your calendar current. The agent can only see what is on the calendar you connect. Keep it up to date, and connect the calendar your team actually schedules from, or the agent may offer a time that is not really free. An appointment the agent books is still a request, and your own confirmation controls.
The other provider's terms. Your use of Google Calendar and any other connected service remains governed by that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, or for changes they make that stop a connection working, though we will tell you if a connection stops working.

7. Fees

Fees are set out in your order or subscription agreement. Postage and print costs are billed per piece at flat rates, and we do not charge per-record data fees. Unless your agreement says otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a mailing is approved and sent to print.

8. Your content, our platform

You keep ownership of the content and data you provide (your logo, business information, mailing lists). You give us the license we need to print, mail, display, and use it to operate the Service on your behalf. We keep ownership of the VoiceScout platform, software, templates, and branding.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for us, our partners, or mail recipients. Campaigns already approved and in production at termination will complete and be billed normally.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee response rates, lead volume, booked jobs, or revenue from any campaign.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, VoiceScout will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify Customers by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
